All console players know one thing – a controller can make or break your gameplay experience.
These days, I spend most of my time playing COD, Apex Legends, HyperScape. The DualShock controllers have always been fine, but I needed something to start giving me the edge in these games where accuracy and control were key. I'm slightly better but I still suck.
Opening the box itself is an experience. Then comes the carry which in itself suggests quality. Then you see the controller and you just this is really some sick tech”. As well as a wired option, the Revolution Unlimited controller comes with a USB stick for wireless play, several different weighted cylinders for control options, and impressive LED lights.
The sleek black design with different pressure pads makes for a better all-round grip, but the button layout does take some getting used to. The joysticks are not parallel, as they are on the DualShock 4, and takes some getting used to. Xbox players should be fine with this layout though if it works on Xbox.
It just FEELS good and you FEEL like a better player just holding this thing. Feels premium. I would prefer higher thumb sticks as an option and also a more tactile thumb grip.
Although the layout is different, it’s easy enough to get to grips with. The additions of a “Mute Mic” button on the back joins the Revolution Unlimited controller, along with four back buttons/triggers. You can remap ANY button to these “shortcut” buttons, just by holding down the Profile button and voila. However, I would prefer the back buttons to slightly further apart as pressing the wrong back button is just to easy and annoying.
If you want to personalise your settings, download the PC/MAC companion app, where you can not only adjust the settings of the left and right sticks, but also remap buttons, select four or eight-way movements of the D-Pad, and independently adjust vibration intensity on both of the handgrips. However the software is very vague with no explanation of what changes can be made.
Accuracy is insane. Responsiveness is great.
If you want a pro experience, this controller has to be your first choice. From the look, to the feel, to the way it performs, it really ticks all the boxes after 2 weeks of use. Time will tell how well built this controller really is .

Brilliant controller in every respect but does require some time to properly set up using the software. Started my console gaming on an XBox 360 with its asymmetrical controller layout and could never get used to the Playstation's symmetrical controller layout. This controller's ergonomics are brilliant.
Plenty of reviews online so won't go into any details. The S-buttons on the controller's grips make a world of difference in games like Nier: Automata, The Witcher 3 and Bloodborne where the melee combat is frequently very fast-paced.
Only downside is that it's battery life isn't the best - only get about 6-hours from fully charged to 1 battery "cell" remaining. Also, because the input amperage is only 0.5A (the DS4's is 0.8A), plugging it into a powerbank or charging it with a cellphone charger (even a 1.0A) will damage the battery over time. So you are forced to charge it directly from the PS4. Fortunately, the included USB cable is 3 meters (I think) so you can play wired while it charges without your nose pressed to the TV. I normally charge it with the PS4 in Rest mode between gaming sessions, so rarely have to contend with wired play.
Would definitely recommend it.

Was very shocked,at the time frame and service provided by koodoo, and the fact that they are cheaper than other online stores was even more shocking, love it. Will definitely be back

Koodoo coming through with the spoils! Amazing service, same day delivery and the driver was courteous. Extra goodies like throwing in the mug and face mask.
Love the service - they have and will continue to be my #1 source for gaming equipment.
