We’ve recently been made aware of a fraudulent impersonation of KOODOO on WhatsApp, Facebook, and other platforms.
This scam involves a fake seller claiming to represent KOODOO while offering iPhones and Xbox consoles-products we do not sell. Victims are paying this individual and then being referred to us to “collect” these non-existent items.
Let us be absolutely clear:

📝 What To Do If You’ve Been Affected:
If you think you’ve been scammed or contacted by someone falsely claiming to be KOODOO:

Stop all communication with the individual.

Do not send any further money.

Report the fake account or profile directly on the platform (e.g., social media or marketplace site).

Submit any supporting documents directly to SAPS under the open fraud case:
Case Reference: CAS 223/6/2025

Proof of payment

Any contact details or links used by the scammer
This will help the South African Police Service with their ongoing investigation and strengthen the case against the fraudster.
