KOODOO Vault Loyalty Program Terms and Conditions
SECTION 1 – GENERAL INFORMATION
- KOODOO Vault is a loyalty program operated by KOODOO, designed to reward customers/members with Gems for making purchases on our store.
- These Gems can be redeemed for discounts on future purchases, subject to the Terms and Conditions below.
- Participation in the Program constitutes acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.
SECTION 2 – ELIGIBILITY
- The Program is open to all customers aged 18 or older who have created an account on KOODOO.co.za.
- By participating, you confirm that all information provided to KOODOO is accurate and up-to-date.
- KOODOO reserves the right to verify eligibility and disqualify participants who do not meet the requirements.
SECTION 3 – PROGRAM ENROLLMENT
- Existing customers who have created an account are automatically enrolled in the Program.
- New customers will be enrolled upon registering on KOODOO.co.za.
- There is no fee associated with joining or maintaining membership in the KOODOO Vault Program.
SECTION 4 – EARNING GEMS

How Gems Are Earned:
- Gems are earned when a purchase is made on selected categories.
- Gems are earned on the value of purchases, excluding VAT.

Earning Rates:
- 1 Gem per R1 spent on consoles.
- 2 Gems per R1 spent on non-consoles.

Non-Eligible Purchases:
- Gems are not earned on vouchers, gift cards, shipping, taxes, or other fees.

Pre-Orders:
- Gems are earned on pre-orders once the payment is successfully processed.

Retroactive Earnings:
- Gems cannot be earned on purchases made before the Program launch.

Gem Cap:
- There is no limit to the number of Gems a member can earn.
SECTION 5 – REDEEMING GEMS

How to Redeem Gems:
- Gems can be redeemed during checkout for discounts on eligible items.
- Redeemable Gems are available in predetermined values, as shown below:

Eligible and Non-Eligible Redemptions:
- Gems can be redeemed for discounted items and all eligible items.
- Gems cannot be redeemed for taxes or shipping.
- Orders containing more than three of the same product are not eligible to earn Gems.
- B2B customers do not qualify for Gems.

Shipping Fees and Redemption:
- If the total order value after redemption falls below R450, a shipping fee of R70 will still apply.

Partial Redemptions:
- Gems can be used as partial payment. The remaining balance must be paid via other payment methods.
SECTION 6 – GEM EXPIRY AND REFUNDS

Expiry:
- Gems expire one year after they are earned.
- It is the participant's responsibility to monitor their Gem balance and expiration dates.

Refunds for Returned Items:
- If an item is returned or refunded, the corresponding Gems earned for that purchase will be deducted from the member’s balance.
- If Gems were redeemed for the returned item, the Gems’ equivalent value in rands will be deducted from the refund amount.

Account Closure:
- Closing a KOODOO account will result in the forfeiture of all unused Gems.
SECTION 7 – GEM BALANCE AND HISTORY
- Members can view their Gem balance, as well as their earning and spending history, on the "Rewards" page of their account after logging in.
- For any discrepancies, contact KOODOO customer care at customercare@koodoo.co.za.
SECTION 8 – TRANSFERABILITY OF GEMS
- Gems, rewards, and memberships are non-transferable and have no cash value.
- These Terms and Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and KOODOO regarding your participation in the Loyalty Program.
SECTION 9 – DISCOUNT LIMITATIONS
- Only one discount can be applied to an order at a time.
- If an FNB eBucks discount is applied to a purchase, Gems cannot be redeemed for an additional discount on the same order, and vice versa.
- Members must choose which discount they wish to apply at checkout.
SECTION 10 – PROGRAM CHANGES AND TERMINATION
- KOODOO reserves the right to modify or terminate the Program, including earning rates, redemption values, and eligibility criteria, at any time, at its sole discretion without prior notice.
- In the event of termination, members will be notified, and unused Gems will be forfeited.

SECTION 12 – LIABILITY AND DISCLAIMERS
- KOODOO will not be held responsible for any errors, delays, or interruptions in the Program caused by external factors, such as technical issues or system failures.
- Members are responsible for safeguarding their account information and Gems. KOODOO will not be liable for unauthorized use or access.
SECTION 13 – GOVERNING LAW
- These Terms and Conditions, along with the KOODOO Vault Program, are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa.
SECTION 14 – ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
- By participating in the KOODOO Vault loyalty program, members agree to these Terms and Conditions and any future modifications made by KOODOO.
