There has been a lot of updates over the past week in the gaming world, here is what you have missed:

State of Play:

Horizon Forbidden West

The new gameplay footage, captured directly on a PlayStation 5, is absolutely remarkable. From the gripping detail put into the environment to the adventure and storyline that players get exposed to, this PlayStation 5 exclusive has us waiting in anticipation for the release of the game.

In the never seen before gameplay, Aloy sends Erend into the remains of San Francisco. The mission…to find an important artifact. Soon after Erend is surrounded by trouble when two rebel fighters from the Tenakth tribe reveal some sort of power that can override machines! In order to rescue her friend Aloy sets out to take on multiple enemies, Sunwings in the sky, Clawstriders and Tremortusks on land, Snapmaws and the Burrowers in the water.

Much emphasis is placed on combat tactics, players have a range of weapons that can be used, from spears to bows and grenades. In addition is a new set of combos that guarantee an exciting gaming experience.

The massive open world found in Horizon Forbidden West is both dangerous and unfamiliar. With the new underwater world there are many challenges and threats that Aloy must pass through.

If you are looking for something captivating and are ready for a journey filled with compelling moments that leave you in awe, this is the game for you.

Sonic Central:

To commemorate 30 years of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sega has revealed its upcoming birthday plans.

In September Sonic fans can play Sonic Colours Remaster and Sonic Colours Ultimate featuring a new mode called Rival Rush.

A new teaser trailer was revealed on the upcoming Sonic game that will be available in 2022.

Sonic will also be making a special appearance in various games from Olympic Games Tokyo 2020: The Official Video Game to Two Point Hospital and Lost Judgement.

 

Dying Light 2 Twitch Stream:

Dying Light 2:

Dying Light 2 has got a new name, Dying Light 2 Stay Human, to be released December 7th.

The gameplay reveal showed us the current state of Dying Light 2 Stay Human as well as a new story synopsis.

Aiden Caldwell is now the main character of the game, replacing Crane. With no recollection of how things were prior to the fall of mankind, Aiden pushes through the terrifying world to become a master of parkour.

Dying Light received much praise for its gameplay and mechanics. Dying Light 2 promises to be so much more, with detail put behind different parkour skills as well as the storyline.

Gamers are certainly in for a treat, and we cannot wait!
