Marvel’s Spider-Man: Game of the Year Edition

It seems remarkable that a year has passed since the launch of what has turned into one of PlayStation’s most beloved titles. The development team at Insomniac Games (recently acquired by SIE Global), had truly generated something spectacular, and we are honoured to mark the one-year anniversary of Marvel’s Spider-Man by announcing the new Game of the Year Edition.

If you have yet to thwip around the faithfully rendered New York, yet to dive off the Empire State Building, or face off against some no-good thugs, we highly recommend that you give the GOTY Edition a shot. Inside the case you’ll find the full game, as well as a voucher for the well-received expansion, Marvel’s Spider-Man: The City That Never Sleeps – this forms a three-chapter narrative which its own spectacular (and tellingly), post-game story.

That’s not all though, since the good folks at Insomniac Games appear to hate sleeping, they’ve been hard at work developing loads of new skins for Spidey to wear as he kicks butt all over the Big Apple. Every skin has been developed for free since the initial launch in 2018, and while many of them are unlockable throughout the course of the game, getting the GOTY Edition would sure afford a nice compliment to the collection of every skin.
