In addition to these game announcements, Sony also revealed a new PlayStation handheld device called Project Q. To play games on the handheld device, you'll require a PlayStation 5 console. These games will be streamed over Wi-Fi using Remote Play. Like most cloud-based gaming, a reliable internet connection is essential to minimize any delay. Based on the provided information, Project Q boasts a button layout that mirrors the standard DualSense controller. It will also offer haptic feedback, similar to the DualSense, and is capable of streaming games at 1080p and 60FPS when connected to a strong Wi-Fi network.
Sony also announced a new pair of wireless earbuds called PlayStation Buds. The earbuds will feature active noise cancellation as well as lossless audio with low latency. The earbuds are scheduled to be released later this year for PS5, PS and Project Q.
