Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 5.0 / 5 from 4 reviews.

Moving from the base launch PS5 to the PS5 Pro the most noticeable and welcome difference (if you haven't changed it at least) is the bigger storage space for me by far. 2TB vs 825GB makes a huge difference. I haven't had to worry about deleting any games to make space for games I only play with friends yet and it's amazing. The graphical and performance updates are certainly welcome. The extra 2GB of RAM dedicated to the OS and background tasks is also noticeable when opening and navigating the Playstation menu during resource-heavy games. Previously it used to take a second or two for the menu to load properly and catch up. It's definitely a lot quicker now and a lot more smoother. I'm certainly happy with my purchase but this is definitely only for those that want the "best" that Sony has to offer so it's definitely not for everyone, especially considering the price, but this is a "premium" console geared toward the hardcore enthusiast player base first and foremost.
