I’m really impressed with the PlayStation Portal. It looks sleek, feels comfortable, and the screen is great. Remote Play works surprisingly well (at home), making it easy to play my PS5 around the house without taking over the TV. The controls feel just like a DualSense, battery life is decent, and the overall build quality feels premium. For anyone with a PS5 who wants more flexibility, I’d definitely recommend it.
I highly recommend this accessory to the PS5, after 20 hours using it I must say my back log is going to get completed next few months. There are some factors you need to consider with the main one being having a strong internet connection/speed at home. You will get milliseconds of lag but it’s not that annoying. There are many YouTube videos for you to do your research before you decide. It’s feels ok in the hands but for me after 3 hours I can feel some strain, joysticks are smaller but serviceable as too are the L/R buttons. There is no guarantee stick drift will not happen but the unit comes with a one year warranty and you get a business card in the box should the unit die on you. Battery life for me is good only because I turn off all lights and vibrations on the system to prolong the battery life. Charging is fairly quick and in one hour you can get enough battery to game another 3 hours. Built in speakers are decent and can hear all sounds produced by the game. I only play single player games so I can’t comment on the online for this unit. If you play PlayStation a lot and live in a household where the main TV is in use most of the time I highly suggest you buy this.

My boyfriend loves it but it lags with some games and I guess the battery is not meant to last more than 3 hours but besides that he is happy

No one could give me information about the delivery. And once they did inform me it is coming, they forgot to pack it in the delivery vehicle. Then it was taken to the wrong address. And after all that, they told me to wait another 3 days. Absolutely unacceptable.
This thing is beautiful! Just remember that Cloud Streaming is not active in South Africa, but otherwise this machine runs like a dream. A big shout out to Koodoo as well. I ordered the Portal one day before the release on a Tuesday if I'm not mistaken, the next day I had it by me... And I'm from the Western Cape! They really made quick work of the process and used CourierIt which was snappy. I literally waited less than 24 hours since payment, that is exceptional customer service.
