So, what is all the fuss about?
Resident Evil Village carries on the story of the ever-unwilling protagonist, Ethan Winters. Ethan has set out to find his daughter Rosemary, who has been kidnapped by a former ally, Chris Redfield. Traversing through wide and varying landscapes, Ethan is forced to work his way through several haunting, yet visually stunning environments. Players will be familiar with The Village and The Castle environs, as these have been accessible via the Resident Evil Village Demos.
In the full game players will be introduced to new characters, each controlling a specific geographic area of the map.
Some particularly interesting characters to look out for are Donna Beneviento, Carl Heisenberg and Salvatore Moreau.
Powered by Capcom’s proprietary RE engine, fans of the survival horror franchise can expect ultra-realistic graphics, and thus ultra-intense gameplay too.
Prepare yourself before you start this one!
