PlayStation’s State Of Play address has been eventful to say the least, and as ever, it has included numerous noteworthy announcements. One such announcement, was the official release date for one of the most anticipated sequels in recently memory, The Last of Us Part 2.

Nearly 3 years after the initial announcement was made, the Last of Us Part 2 receives an official release date, putting months of rumours and speculation to bed. The announcement trailer is certainly not for the faint hearted, and focuses on Ellie once more, permitting us to gauge her motivation within the storyline.
